The Birth of the Yggdrasians

In the beginning,
there were two
fruits, one among
the leaves, and
one beneath the roots.

For atop was Innocence
and below, Transgression,
the two Yggdrasians,

and the one above
bloomed, while
the one below
did not grow,

and so he watched
his brother live his
days as he lay
destitute, and spent
his years dreaming
to burn all above
the roots.
